Disney's Frozen was their big blockbuster of 2013. It was the company's 53rd full length animated movie - and it was loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's "The Snow Queen" - with some modifications for the Disney style of magic.
It's basically a story of sisterly love, which is probably why it was such a big hit with young girls everywhere. Young girls still go nuts for this movie - and many of them will want a Disney Frozen theme in their bedroom.
A bedroom makeover can be a daunting prospect - whether it's for an adult or a child - and children can be very demanding "customers". However, if you want to establish a theme in a child's bedroom, it's a lot easier than you think.
At the risk of stating the obvious, the bed is the focus of the room - which is why it's called the bedroom I suppose. Simply by changing the bedlinen for sheets, covers, pillowslips etc. with the theme that you're going for printed on them, you can very quickly change the look of the room.
You can follow up by changing the drapes - because the window will be the second most dominant feature in the room, and one which will naturally draw the eye. Add a few posters, a couple of scatter cushions, a bedside light and you'll have a themed bedroom in no time at all.
The great thing about this is that you can do it quickly and without spending too much money.
You should be able to pick up a set of themed bedding for somewhere between $30 and $50. A set of curtains with tie-backs will probably set you back anywhere between $30 and $60, depending on the size of the window to some extent. A few accessories, a lamp, a rug (or two), a couple of posters or wall decals should come in at well under $100 - and, don't forget, you can add the accessories one piece at a time if you want.
In summary, for well under $200, and probably in the space of either a morning or an afternoon, you should be able to complete a
themed Disney bedroom makeover. Of course, you could spend a lot more money if you wish - but that amount of time and money will still produce a themed room that will delight your child.
The great thing is that, because it's so quick and easy to do, you could complete your makeover while your daughter is playing with friends, visiting relatives or at school. It could be a huge surprise (and a very pleasant one) for her. Imagine the look on her face when she sees her bedroom makeover for the first time!
Don't be put off by the size of the task - it's easy to do.
