New FitFlop Styles 2014
One of the best presents that I ever got for my wife was a pair of FitFlop boots. That was a few years ago and, since then, she's had a few more pairs. She absolutely loves them.
FitFlops were originally marketed as "toning shoes", using slogans such as "the sandal with the gym built in" and "workout while you walk". Of course, there's been a bit of a backlash against toning shoes, but FitFlop hasn't been as affected as the likes of Skechers or Reebok.

Best Digital Pedometer 2014
One of the best forms of exercise is walking. It's something that everyone knows how to do, and it's ideal for anyone who hasn't exercised for a while.
Health professionals recommend that we should all be aiming to take about 10,000 steps a day. That's somewhere between four and a half and five miles, depending upon you height and stride length.

Digital pedometers are inexpensive and, by helping you to keep track of your progress, can help you to stay motivated. They display your results as the number of steps taken (obviously), the distance covered and the number of calories burned.
Some people (including me) find it more motivating to know how many calories a walk equates to. For example, walking to a particular shop and back, instead of taking the car, burns off the same amount of calories as a Mars bar. It's a nice way to look at it.
